The Vehicle Theft SecurityAlarm (VTSA) system moni-
tors the doors, trunk, and ignition switch for unautho-
rizedoperation.
turntheignitionswitchONwithin60seconds.After10
secondsasinglechimewillsound.TheTheftAlarmLight
willstopflashing,turnonfor3seconds;thenturnoff.
ThenewSentryKeyhasbeenprogrammed.
Ifsomethingtriggersthealarm,thesystemwillsignalfor
about 18 minutes. For the first 3 minutes, the horn will
sound intermittently and the headlights, park lights,
taillightsandtheindicatorlightintheclusterwillflash.
Thentheexteriorlightswillflashforanother15minutes.
Repeatthisproceduretoprogramupto8keys.Ifyoudo
nothaveaprogrammedsentrykey,contactyourdealer
fordetails.
GeneralInformation
RearmingoftheSystem:
TheSentryKeysystemcomplieswithFCCrulespart15
and with RSS-210 of Industry Canada. Operation is
subjecttothefollowingconditions:
Ifsomethingtriggersthealarm,andnoactionistakento
disarm it, the system will turn off the horn after 3
minutes,turnoffallofthevisualsignalsafter15minutes,
andthenthesystemwillrearmitself.

Thisdevicemustacceptanyinterferencethatmaybe
received,includinginterferencethatmaycauseundes-
iredoperation.
ToArmtheSystem:
1.
Removethekeysfromtheignitionswitchandgetout
ofthevehicle.
2.
Lockthedoorusingeitherthepowerdoorlockswitch
ortheKeylessEntryTransmitter,andclosealldoors.
