ILLUMINATEDENTRYSYSTEM—IFEQUIPPED
Thecourtesylightswillturnonwhenyouusethekeyless
entrytransmitteroropenthedoors.Thisfeatureisonly
availableifyouhaveRemoteKeylessEntry.
Ifthealarmwastriggered,butthewarningsignalshave
timed out, the park and taillights flash three times
(insteadofthenormaltwice)whenunlockingthevehicle
withavalidRemoteKeylessEntry(RKE)transmitterto
alertthedriver.
Thelightswillfadetooffafterabout30secondsorthey
will immediately fade to off once the ignition switch is
turnedon.
SecuritySystemManualOverride
TheVehicleTheftSecurityAlarm(VTSA)systemwillnot
arm if you lock the doors using the manual door lock
plunger.
NOTE:
•
The front courtesy overhead console and door cour-
tesylightsdonotturnonifthedimmercontrolisin
theinteriorlightsONposition(extremetopposition).
•
The illuminated entry system will not operate if the
dimmer control is in the “defeat” position (extreme
downwardposition).
