Pressthe’Phone’buttontobegin.

Press the ‘Voice Recognition’ button and say ЉSetup,
VoiceTrainingЉcommand.
AftertheЉReadyЉpromptandthefollowingbeep,say
ЉSetupPhonePairing.Љ
Repeat the words and phrases when prompted by the
UConnect™ system. For best results, the Voice Training
sessionshouldbecompletedwhenthevehicleisparked,
enginerunning,allwindowsclosed,andtheblowerfan
switchedoff.

At the next prompt, say ЉDeleteЉ and follow the
prompts.
You can also press the ЈVoice Recognition’ button
anytimewhilethelistisbeingplayed,andthenchoose
thephoneyouwishtodelete.
This procedure may be repeated with a new user. The
systemwilladapttothelasttrainedvoiceonly.
ThingsYouShouldKnowAboutYourUConnect™
System
TorestoretheVoiceRecognitionsystemtofactorydefault
settings, enter the Voice Training session via the above
procedureandfollowtheprompts.
VoiceTraining
Forusersexperiencingdifficultywiththesystemrecog-
nizing their voice commands or numbers, the UCon-
nect™ system Voice Training feature may be used. To
enter this training mode, follow one of the two proce-
dures:
VoiceRecognition(VR)
• Alwayswaitforthebeepbeforespeaking.

Speak normally, without pausing, just as you would
speaktoapersonsittingapproximatelyeight(8)feet
awayfromyou.
From outside the UConnect™ mode (e.g. from radio
mode)
