THINGSTOKNOWBEFORESTARTINGYOURVEHICLE

Press and hold the LOCK button on a programmed
Tolockthedoors:
keyfob.
PressandreleasetheLOCKbuttononthetransmitterto
lock all doors. The turn signal lights will flash and the
horn will chip once to acknowledge the lock signal. If
desired, the “Sound Horn On Lock” feature can be
turnedonoroff.Onelectronicvehicleinformationcenter
(EVIC)equippedvehiclesreferto“PersonalSettings”in
the “Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC)” sec-
tion of this manual. On non EVIC – equipped vehicles
performthefollowingsteps:

ContinuetoholdtheLOCKbuttonatleast4seconds,
butnotlongerthan10seconds,thenpressandholdthe
UNLOCKbutton.Asinglechimewillsoundtoindicate
thatthisfeaturehaschanged.

Releasebothbuttonsatthesametime.
Test the feature while outside of the vehicle, by
pressingtheLOCK/UNLOCKbuttononthekeyfob.

PresstheLOCKbuttonfor4to10seconds.
NOTE: PressingtheLOCKbuttononthekeyfobwhile
you are inside the vehicle will activate the Security
Alarm.OpeningadoorwiththeSecurityAlarmactivated
willcausethealarmtosound.PresstheUNLOCKbutton
todeactivatetheSecurityAlarm.
2. While the LOCK button is pressed (after 4 seconds),
pressthePANICbutton.Releasebothbuttons.
The“SoundHornOnLock”featurecanbereactivatedby
repeatingthisprocedure.

If the desired programming was not achieved or to
ToUnlatchtheTrunk:
Press the trunk button on the transmitter two times to
unlatchthetrunk.
