Thedoorswilllockautomaticallyonvehicleswithpower
doorlocksifallofthefollowingconditionsaremet:
CAUTION!
An unlocked vehicle is an invitation to thieves.
Always remove the key from the ignition and lock
allofthedoorswhenleavingthevehicleunattended.

Thetransmissionisingear.
PowerDoorLocks

Adoorlockswitchislocatedonthedriverandpassenger
doorpanel.Pressthisswitchtolockorunlockthedoors.

Thethrottleispressed.
Thevehiclespeedisabove15mph(24km/h).
Thedoorswerenotpreviouslylockedusingthepower
doorlockswitchorremotekeylessentrytransmitter.
The Automatic Door Lock feature can be enabled or
disabled. Refer to “Personal Settings” (Customer Pro-
grammable Features) in the Electronic Vehicle Informa-
tionCenter(EVIC)—ifequippedsectionofthismanual
fordetails.
ForvehiclesnotequippedwiththeEVIC,theAutomatic
DoorLockscanbeenabledordisabledbyperformingthe
followingprocedure:

Closealldoorsandplacethekeyintheignition.
