Thelightdoesnotshowthequantityofoilintheengine.
This can be determined using the procedure shown in
Section7.
As an added safety feature, your  vehicle has been
equippedwithatirepressuremonitoringsystem(TPMS)
thatilluminatesalowtirepressuretelltalewhenoneor
moreofyourtiresissignificantlyunder-inflated.Accord-
ingly,whenthelowtirepressuretelltaleilluminates,you
shouldstopandcheckyourtiresassoonaspossible,and
inflatethemtotheproperpressure.Drivingonasignifi-
cantlyunder-inflatedtirecausesthetiretooverheatand
canleadtotirefailure.Under-inflationalsoreducesfuel
efficiencyandtiretreadlife,andmayaffectthevehicle’s
handlingandstoppingability.

EngineTemperatureWarningLight
This light warns of an overheated engine con-
dition.Iftheengineiscriticallyhot,awarning
chime will sound 10 times. After the chime
turnsoff,theenginewillstillbecriticallyhotuntilthe
lightgoesout.

TransmissionRangeIndicator
Thisdisplayindicatorshowstheautomatictransaxlegear
selection.
NOTE: TheTirePressureMonitoringSystem(TPMS)is
notasubstituteforpropertiremaintenance,anditisthe
driver’s responsibility to maintain correct tire pressure,
evenifunder-inflationhasnotreachedtheleveltotrigger
illuminationoftheTirePressureMonitoringSystemlow
tirepressuretelltale.

TirePressureMonitorLight
Each tire, including the spare (if provided),
should be checked monthly when cold and
inflated to the inflation  pressure recom-
mendedbythevehiclemanufactureronthe
vehicleplacardortireinflationpressurelabel.(Ifyour
vehicle has tires of a different size than the size
indicatedonthevehicleplacardortireinflationpres-
sure label, you should determine the proper  tire
inflationpressureforthosetires.)
The Tire Pressure Monitoring Telltale Lamp will illumi-
nateintheinstrumentcluster,andanaudiblechimewill
beactivatedwhenoneormoretirepressuresislow.The
TirePressureMonitoringTelltaleLampwillflashonand
