plete accident investigation, the electronic data may be
usedbyDaimlerChryslerCorporationandotherstolearn
moreaboutthepossiblecausesofcrashesandassociated
injuries in order to assess and improve vehicle perfor-
mance. In addition to crash investigations initiated by
DaimlerChrysler Corporation, such investigations may
be requested by customers, insurance carriers, govern-
mentofficials,andprofessionalcrashresearchers,suchas
thoseassociatedwithuniversities,andwithhospitaland
insuranceorganizations.
