any other transponder equipped components on the
same keychain will not cause a key-related (tran-
sponder) fault unless the additional part is physi-
cally held against the ignition key being used
when starting the vehicle. Cell phones, pagers, or
otherRFelectronicswillnotcauseinterferencewith
thissystem.

electronics. A blank key is one, which has never been
programmed.

Youcanprogramnewkeystothesystemifyouhavetwo
validsentrykeysbyperformingthefollowingprocedure:
All of the keys provided with your new vehicle have
beenprogrammedtothevehicleelectronics.

matchtheignitionswitchlockcylinderkeycode.
CuttheadditionalSentryKeyTransponderblank(s)to
ReplacementKeys
NOTE: Only keys that have been programmed to the
vehicleelectronicscanbeusedtostartthevehicle.Once
aSentryKeyhasbeenprogrammedtoavehicle,itcannot
beprogrammedtoanyothervehicle.

Insert the first valid key into the ignition switch and
turntheignitionswitchONforatleast3secondsbutno
longerthan15seconds.TurntheignitionswitchOFFand
removethefirstkey.
Atthetimeofpurchase,theoriginalownerisprovided
with a four-digit PIN number. This number is required
fordealerreplacementofkeys.Duplicationofkeysmay
be performed at an authorized dealer or by using the
CustomerKeyProgrammingprocedure.Thisprocedure

Insert the second valid key and turn the ignition
switchONwithin15seconds.Aftertenseconds,achime
willsoundandtheTheftAlarmLightwillbegintoflash.
TurntheignitionswitchOFFandremovethesecondkey.
