Ifitisnecessarytousetheaccessorieswhilebeingtowed
(wipers, defrosters, etc.), the key must be in the ON
position,nottheACCESSORYposition.Makecertainthe
transaxleremainsinNEUTRAL.
TowingThisVehicleBehindAnotherVehicle(Flat
TowingWithAllFourWheelsOnTheGround)
CAUTION!
WithoutTheIgnitionKey
Special care must be taken when the vehicle is towed
withtheignitionintheLOCKposition.Adollyshouldbe
usedunderthefrontwheelsiftherearwheelsareraised.
Proper towing equipment is necessary to prevent dam-
agetothevehicle.
DONOTflattowthisvehicle.Damagetothedriv-
etrainwillresult.
Battery power  is required  to release  the brake/
transmissioninterlocksystem.Thereisanoverridesys-
temthatallowsyoutoshiftoutofParkincaseoflossof
power. To activate the override system, remove the cup
holder liner, insert a key, screwdriver or finger into the
frontholeandpushtheleverforward.
