Pressing and holding the RESET button once
will clear the function currently being dis-
played. Reset will only occur if a resettable
functioniscurrentlybeingdisplayed.Toreset
all resettable functions, press and release the
RESETbuttonasecondtimewithin3seconds

When the DTE value is less than 30 miles (48 km)
estimated driving distance, the DTE display will
changetoatextdisplayofЉLOWFUEL.ЉThisdisplay
willcontinueuntilthevehiclerunsoutoffuel.Adding
asignificantamountoffueltothevehiclewillturnoff
the ЉLOW FUELЉ text and a new DTE value will
display.

Showsthetotalelapsedtimeoftravelsincethelastreset
whentheignitionswitchisintheACCposition.Elapsed
timewillincrementwhentheignitionswitchisintheON
orSTARTposition.
The compass readings indicate the direction
the vehicle is facing. Press and release the
compass button to display one of eight com-
passreadingsandtheoutsidetemperature.The
RESETbuttonisusedinconjunctionwiththeMENU/
STEPbuttonstonavigateandselectMenuPreferences.

To make your selection, press and release the RESET
buttonuntil“US”or“METRIC”appears.
AutomaticCompassCalibration
Thiscompassisself-calibrating,eliminatingtheneedto
calibratethecompassmanually.Whenthevehicleisnew,
the compass may appear erratic and the EVIC will
display“FLASHTHECAL”indicatoruntilthecompass
