FuelGauge
WhentheignitionswitchisintheONposition,
thepointerwillshowtheleveloffuelremaining
inthefueltank.
There are steps that you can take to slow down an
impendingoverheatcondition.Ifyourairconditioningis
on,turnitoff.Theairconditioningsystemaddsheatto
the engine cooling system and turning off the A/C 4
removes this heat. You can also turn the Temperature
controltomaximumheat,theModecontroltoFloorand
theFancontroltoHigh.Thisallowstheheatercoretoact
asasupplementtotheradiatorandaidsinremovingheat
fromtheenginecoolingsystem.

FuelDoorReminder
ThisisareminderthattheFuelFillerDooris
locatedontheleftsideofthevehicle.
3.
TemperatureGauge
The temperature gauge shows engine coolant
temperature.Anyreadingbelowtheredareaof
thegaugeshowsthattheenginecoolingsystem
4. Speedometer
Indicatesvehiclespeed.
isoperatingproperly.Thegaugepointermayshowa
higherthannormaltemperaturewhendrivinginhot
weather, up mountain grades, in heavy stop and go
traffic,orwhentowingatrailer.

Tachometer
Thewhiteareaofthescaleshowsthepermissibleengine
revolutions-per-minute(rpmx1000)foreachgearrange.
Beforereachingtheredarea,easeupontheacceleratorto
preventenginedamage.
If the pointer rises to the H (red) mark, the instrument
clusterwillsoundachime.Pulloverandstopthevehicle.
Idlethevehiclewiththeairconditionerturnedoffuntil
