Installthenewbladeassemblyontothewiperarmtip
Ifyounoticeachangeinthesoundoftheexhaustsystem,
orifexhaustfumescanbedetectedinsidethevehicle,or
when the underside or rear of the vehicle is damaged;
have a competent technician inspect the complete ex-
haustsystemandadjacentbodyareasforbroken,dam-
aged, deteriorated, or mispositioned parts. Open seams
orlooseconnectionscouldpermitexhaustfumestoseep
intothepassengercompartment.Inaddition,inspectthe
exhaustsystemeachtimethevehicleisraisedforanoil
changeorlubrication.Replaceasrequired.
NOTE: Alwaysrefertothewiperbladepackagingfor
specific installation instructions. Many wiper blade re-
placementsfitmultiplevehicles.
WindshieldWasherReservoir
The washer fluid reservoir is located engine compart-
ment and should be checked for fluid level at regular
intervals. Fill the reservoir with windshield washer sol-
vent(notradiatorantifreeze)andoperatethesystemfor
afewsecondstoflushouttheresidualwater.Refertothe
appropriate engine diagram (at the beginning of this
section)forthelocationofthereservoir.
WARNING!
Exhaustgasescaninjureorkill.Theycontaincarbon
monoxide (CO) which is colorless and odorless.
Breathing it can make you unconscious and can
eventuallypoisonyou.ToavoidbreathingCO,refer
to Exhaust Gas in the Safety Tips section of this
manual.
ExhaustSystem
The best protection against carbon monoxide entry into
thevehiclebodyisaproperlymaintainedengineexhaust
system.
