WindshieldWiperOperation
Turn to the second detent for low wiper speed and the
thirddetentforhighwiperspeed.

of approximately 18 seconds between cycles, to a cycle
everysecond.
NOTE: Thewiperdelaytimesdependonvehiclespeed.
If the vehicle is moving less than 10 mph (16 km/h), 3
delaytimeswillbedoubled.
NOTE: Ifthefrontwiperisoperatingwhentheignition
is turned off, the wiper will automatically return to the
ЉParkЉposition.Whenthevehicleisrestarted,thewipers
willresumeoperation.
AddingWasherFluid
Thefluidreservoirforthewindshieldwashersislocated
in the engine compartment and should be checked for
fluid level at regular intervals. Fill the reservoir with
windshieldwashersolvent(notradiatorantifreeze)and
operate the system for a few seconds to flush out the
residualwater.Refertotheappropriateenginediagram
(Section7“MaintainingYourVehicle”)forthelocationof
thereservoir.
WiperControl
SpeedSensitiveIntermittentWiperSystem
Use the intermittent wiper when weather conditions
make a single wiping cycle, with a variable pause be-
tween cycles, desirable. Select the delay interval by
turningtheendofthelever.Rotatetheknobupwardto
decrease the delay time and downward to increase the
