UNDERSTANDING THE FEATURES OF YOUR VEHICLE
To Deactivate
WARNING!
A soft tap on the brake pedal, pulling the Electronic
Speed Control lever toward CANCEL, or normal brake
orclutchpressurewhileslowingthevehiclewilldeacti-
vate Electronic Speed Control without erasing the set
speedmemory.PressingtheON/OFFbuttonorturning
offtheignitionswitcherasesthesetspeedmemory.
Leaving the Electronic Speed Control system on
whennotinuseisdangerous.Youcouldaccidentally
setthesystemorcauseittogofasterthanyouwant.
Youcouldlosecontrolandhaveanaccident.Always
leavethesystemoffwhenyouarenotusingit.
To Resume Speed
To Set At A Desired Speed
To resume a previously set speed, pull the RESUME
ACCELleverupandrelease.Resumecanbeusedatany
speedabove20mph(32km/h).
When the vehicle has reached the desired speed, pull
down on the lever and release. Release the accelerator
andthevehiclewilloperateattheselectedspeed.
To Vary The Speed Setting
NOTE:
speedandonlevelgroundbeforepressingtheSETlever.
The vehicle should be traveling at a steady
WhentheElectronicSpeedControlisON,speedcanbe
increased by pulling up and holding RESUMEACCEL.
Releasetheleverwhenthedesiredspeedisreached,and
thenewspeedwillbeset.
WhileintheAutoStickmode,ElectronicSpeedControl
willonlyoperatein3rdand4thgear.
