Autostick௡,simplymovetheshiftlevertotheAutostick௡
position.Thetransmissionwillremaininthecurrentgear
untilanupshiftordownshiftischosen.

In Autostick௡ mode, the transmission will only shift
up and down when the driver manually moves the
shiftleverright(D+)orleft(D-).
MovetheshiftleverbacktotheOVERDRIVEpositionto

An UPSHIFT message will appear in the Electronic
Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) portion of the in-
strument cluster. This message appears in order to
alert the driver to upshift to  the next gear. The
UPSHIFT message will display while operating the
vehicle at higher  engine revolutions per  minute
(RPM).

General Information
• Youcanstartoutin1st,2nd,or3rdgear.Shiftinginto
4th gear can occur only after vehicle speed reaches 5
15mph(24km/h).Thesystemwillignoreattemptsto
upshiftattoolowofavehiclespeed.
YoucanmovetheshiftleverinoroutoftheAutostick௡
mode at any time without taking your foot off the
acceleratorpedal.IfyouchoosetheOVERDRIVEmode,
thetransmissionwilloperateautomatically;shiftingbe-
tweenthefouravailablegears.Whenyouwishtoengage
• gearThe transmissionwhencomingwilltoaautomaticallystop.       downshift to 1st

Thetransmissionwillautomaticallyupshiftfrom1stto
2ndgearandfrom2ndto3rdgearwhenenginespeed
reachesabout6,300RPM.
