AutoLock—IfEquipped
Thedoorswilllockautomaticallyonvehicleswithpower
doorlocksifallofthefollowingconditionsaremet:
ForvehiclesnotequippedwiththeEVIC,theAutoLock
canbeenabledordisabledbyperformingthefollowing
procedure:

Thetransmissionisingear.
1. Closealldoorsandplacethekeyintheignition.
2. CycletheignitionswitchbetweenLOCKandON,and
back to LOCK four times, ending up in the LOCK
position.
Alldoorsareclosed.
Thethrottleispressed.
3.
Depress the power door LOCK switch to lock the
Thevehiclespeedisabove15mph(24km/h).
Thedoorswerenotpreviouslylockedusingthepower
doors.
4. A single chime will indicate the completion of the
programming.

AutoUnlock—IfEquipped
TheAutoLockfeaturecanbeenabledordisabled.Refer
to “Personal Settings (Customer Programmable Fea-
tures)” in the “Electronic Vehicle Information Center
(EVIC)—IfEquipped”sectionofthismanualfordetails.
The doors will unlock automatically on vehicles with
powerdoorlocksif:
