MAINTENANCE SCHEDULES
EMISSIONS CONTROL SYSTEM MAINTENANCE
TheScheduledMaintenanceserviceslistedinboldtype,
mustbedoneatthetimesormileagesspecifiedtoensure
thecontinuedproperfunctioningoftheEmissionsCon-
trol System. These, and all other maintenance services
includedinthismanual,shouldbedonetoprovidebest
vehicleperformanceandreliability.Morefrequentmain-
tenancemaybeneededforvehiclesinsevereoperating
conditions, such as dusty areas and very short trip
driving.

There are three maintenance schedules that show re-
quiredserviceforyourvehicle.

vehicles that are operated under the conditions that are
listedbelowandatthebeginningoftheschedule.

performed by any automotive repair establishment or
individual using any automotive part that has been
certifiedpursuanttoU.S.EPAorintheStateofCalifor-
nia,CaliforniaAirResourcesBoardregulations.
