thehornwillchirponcetoacknowledgethelocksignal.
If desired, the “Sound Horn on Lock” feature can be
turned on or off. For EVIC-equipped vehicles, refer to
“PersonalSettings(Customer-ProgrammableFeatures)”,
inthe“ElectronicVehicleInformationCenter(EVIC)—If
Equipped” section of this manual. For non-EVIC-
equippedvehicles,performthefollowingsteps:

Releasebothbuttonsatthesametime.
Test the feature while outside of the vehicle, by
pressingtheLOCK/UNLOCKbuttonontheRKEtrans-
mitter.
NOTE: PressingtheLOCKbuttonontheRKEtransmit-
ter while you are inside the vehicle will activate the
SecurityAlarm.OpeningadoorwiththeSecurityAlarm
activated will cause the alarm to sound. Press the UN-
LOCKbuttontodeactivatetheSecurityAlarm.

WhiletheLOCKbuttonispressed(afterfourseconds),
pressthePANICbutton.Releasebothbuttons.
The“SoundHornonLock”featurecanbereactivatedby
repeatingthisprocedure.
