HomeLink௡replacesuptothreeremotecontrols(hand-
held transmitters) that operate devices such as garage
dooropeners,motorizedgates,lighting,orhomesecurity
systems.TheHomeLink௡unitoperatesoffyourvehicle’s
battery.
NOTE: TheElectronicSpeedControlsystemmaintains
speed up and down hills. A slight speed change on
moderatehillsisnormal.
Vehiclesequippedwithfour-speedautomatictransaxles
may experience a downshift to 3rd gear while climbing
uphill or descending downhill. This downshift to 3rd
gearisnecessarytomaintainvehiclesetspeed.
TheHomeLink௡buttonsthatarelocatedintheheadliner
or sun visor designate the three different HomeLink௡
channels.
Onsteephillsagreaterspeedlossorgainmayoccurso
it may be preferable to drive without Electronic Speed
Control.
