To Turn Off “Flash Lights with Lock”
The “Flash Lights with Lock” feature can be
turned on or off. For EVIC-equipped vehicles refer to
ЉPersonal Settings (Customer-Programmable Features)”,
inthe“ElectronicVehicleInformationCenter(EVIC)—If
Equipped” section of this manual. For non-EVIC-
equippedvehicles,performthefollowingsteps:
Alarm.OpeningadoorwiththeSecurityAlarmactivated
willcausethealarmtosound.PresstheUNLOCKbutton
todeactivatetheSecurityAlarm.
NOTE:

The “Flash Lights on Lock/Unlock” features can be
reactivatedbyrepeatingthisprocedure.
Panic Alarm
The Panic Alarm mode flashes the park lights, and
sounds the horn for about three minutes or until the
alarmisturnedoff.
1.
PresstheUNLOCKbuttonfor4to10seconds.
2.
While the UNLOCK button is pressed, (after four
seconds)presstheLOCKbutton.Releasebothbuttons.
UsingThePanicAlarm
To turn the PanicAlarm feature ON or OFF, press and
hold the PANIC button on the RKE transmitter for at
leastonesecondandrelease.WhenthePanicAlarmison,
the headlights and park lights will flash, the horn will
pulseonandoff,andtheinteriorlightswillturnon.

Testthe“FlashLightswithLockfeaturewhileoutside
ofthevehiclebypressingtheLOCKbuttonontheRKE
transmitterwiththeignitionintheLOCKposition,and
thekeyremoved.
NOTE: PressingtheLOCKbuttonontheRKEtransmit-
terwhileyouareinthevehiclewillactivatetheSecurity
