changetheOilLifeStartValue.
Eachrelease,pressandholdwill
reducethevalueby10%.

AftersettingtheOilLifeStartValue,pressandreleasethe
SELECT/RESETcontrolswitchforthenextSETUPMENUitemorwait
formorethanfoursecondstoreturntotheINFOMENU.
Note:OilLifeStartValueof100%equals7,500miles(12,000km)orsix
months.Forexample,settingOilLifeStartValueto60%setstheOilLife
StartValueto3,000miles(4,800km)and120days.
Compassdisplay(ifequipped)
ThecompassheadingisdisplayedasoneofN,NE,E,SE,S,SW,Wand
NWinthemessagecenterdisplay.
Thecompassreadingmaybeaffectedwhenyoudrivenearlarge
buildings,bridges,powerlinesandpowerfulbroadcastantenna.Magnetic
ormetallicobjectsplacedin,onornearthevehiclemayalsoaffect
compassaccuracy.
Usually,whensomethingaffectsthecompassreadings,thecompasswill
correctitselfafterafewdaysofoperatingyourvehicleinnormal
conditions.Ifthecompassstillappearstobeinaccurate,amanual
calibrationmaybenecessary.RefertoCompasszoneadjustment.
NOTE:Yourvehiclemaybeequippedwitharesetbuttoninthe
rearviewmirrorusedtoadjustthecompasszoneoritmayusethe
SELECT/RESETstemlocatedintheinstrumentcluster.Choosethe
properprocedurefollowingasappropriateforyourvehicle.
Mostgeographicareas(zones)haveamagneticnorthcompasspointthat
variesslightlyfromthenortherlydirectiononmaps.Thisvariationisup
tofourdegreesbetweenadjacentzonesandwillbecomenoticeableas
thevehiclecrossesmultiplezones.Acorrectzonesettingwilleliminate
thiserror.RefertoCompasscalibrationadjustment.
NOTE:Yourvehiclemaybeequippedwitharesetbuttoninthe
rearviewmirrorusedtoadjustthecompasscalibrationoritmayusethe
SELECT/RESETstemlocatedintheinstrumentcluster.Choosethe
properprocedurefollowingasappropriateforyourvehicle.
