Compasscalibrationadjustment
Performcompasscalibrationinanopenareafreefromsteelstructures
andhighvoltagelines.Foroptimumcalibration,turnoffallelectrical
accessories(heater/airconditioning,wipers,etc.)andmakesureall
vehicledoorsareshut.
1.
FromtheSETUPmenu,pressthe
SETUPcontroltoselectthe
compasscalibrationfunction.
2.
PressRESETforcalibration.
3.
Slowlydrivethevehicleina
circle(lessthan3mph[5km/h])
untiltheCIRCLESLOWLYTO
CALIBRATEdisplaychangesto
CALIBRATIONCOMPLETED.Itwill
takeuptofivecirclestocomplete
calibration.
4.
Thecompassisnowcalibrated.
OillifeSetupandStartValue
Toresettheoilmonitoringsystemto100%aftereachoilchange
(approximately7,500miles[12,000km]orsixmonths)performthe
following:
1.
PressRESETcontroltodisplay
“HOLDRESETIFNEWOIL”.
