CHANGING THE WIPER BLADES
1.
Pullthewiperarmawayfromthe
vehicle.Turnthebladeatanangle
fromthewiperarm.Pushthelock
pinmanuallytoreleasetheblade
andpullthewiperbladedown
towardthewindshieldtoremoveit
fromthearm.
2.
Attachthenewwipertothe
wiperarmandpressitintoplace
untilaclickisheard.
Replacewiperbladesatleastonce
peryearforoptimumperformance.
Poorwiperqualitycanbeimproved
bycleaningthewiperbladesand
thewindshield.RefertoWindows
andwiperbladesintheCleaningchapter.
Toprolongthelifeofthewiperblades,itishighlyrecommendedto
scrapeofftheiceonthewindshieldbeforeturningonthewipers.The
layeroficehasmanysharpedgesandcandamagethemicroedgeofthe
wiperrubberelement.
Changing the rear window  wiper blade
Toreplacetherearwiperblade:
1.
excessiveforcebecauseitcanbreakthewiperarm.Holditthereuntil
thenextstep.
Pullthewiperarmasfarawayfromtheglassaspossible.Donotuse
2.
Graspthewiperbladeandrotate
itawayfromthewiperarmusing
moderateforceuntilitdisengages
fromthewiperarm.
3.
Oncethewiperbladeisloose,
slideitawayfromthewiperarm.
