Turnoffthespeedcontrol.Thespeedcontrolmayshutoff
automaticallywhenyouaretowingonlong,steepgrades.

Consultyourlocalmotorvehiclespeedregulationsfortowingatrailer.
Toeliminateexcessiveshifting,usealowergear.Thiswillalsoassist
intransmissioncooling.Foradditionalinformation,refertoAutomatic

Underextremeconditionswithlargefrontaltrailers,highoutside
temperaturesandhighwayspeeds,thecoolantgaugemayindicate
higherthannormalcoolanttemperatures.Ifthisoccurs,reducespeed
untilthecoolanttemperaturereturnstothenormalrange.Referto

Ifyoutowatrailerforlongdistances,yourvehiclewillrequiremore

getthefeelofthevehicletrailercombination.Whenturning,make
widerturnssothetrailerwheelswillclearcurbsandotherobstacles.

Allowmoredistanceforstoppingwithatrailerattached.
Ifyouaredrivingdownalongorsteephill,shifttoalowergear.Do
notapplythebrakescontinuously,astheymayoverheatandbecome
lesseffective.

Thetrailertongueweightshouldbe10–15%oftheloadedtrailer
weight.
