Manyforward-facingchildsafetyseatsincludeatetherstrapwhich
extendsfromthebackofthechildsafetyseatandhookstoananchoring
pointcalledthetoptetheranchor.Tetherstrapsareavailableasan
accessoryformanyoldersafetyseats.Contactthemanufacturerofyour
childseatforinformationaboutorderingatetherstrap,ortoobtaina
longertetherstrapifthetetherstraponyoursafetyseatdoesnotreach
theappropriatetoptetheranchorinthevehicle.
Therearseatsofyourvehicleareequippedwithbuilt-intetherstrap
anchorslocatedbehindtheseatsasdescribedbelow.
Thetetherstrapanchorsinyourvehicleareinthefollowingpositions

thebackedgeofthefloor.

Attachthetetherstraponlytotheappropriatetetheranchorasshown.
Thetetherstrapmaynotworkproperlyifattachedsomewhereother
thanthecorrecttetheranchor.
Oncethechildsafetyseathasbeeninstalledusingeitherthesafetybelt
ortheloweranchorsoftheLATCHsystem,youcanattachthetoptether
strap.
