Loosenthethumbwheelatboth
endsofthecross-bar(Ifthe
thumbwheelistootighttorelease
byhand,asmallscrewdriveror
similardevicecanbeusedtorelease
thetorquebyinsertingtheshaft
intothetie-downloopandtwisting
thethumbwheelcounterclockwise).
Bothcross-barsareadjustable.

Slidethecross-bartothedesiredlocation.
Firmlyretightenthethumbwheelatbothendsofthecross-bar.
Besuretocheckthatthethumbwheelsaretighteachtimeloadisadded
orremovedfromtheroofrack,andperiodicallywhiletraveling.Always
ensurethattheloadissecurebeforetraveling.
Note:Whenthecross-barsarenotinuse,theycaneitherberemovedor
adjustedsothattherearcrossbarisfullyrearward,andthefront
crossbaris10inchesfromthefrontend-captodecreasewindnoise.
