Four–wheeldrive(4WD)suppliespowertoallfourwheels.Donotuse
4X4Highor4X4Lowondry,hardsurfacedroads.Doingsowillproduce
excessivenoise,increasetirewearandmaydamagedrivecomponents.
4X4Highand4X4Lowareonlyintendedforconsistentlyslipperyor
loosesurfaces.Theuseof4X4Highor4X4Lowonthesesurfacesmay
producesomenoise,suchasoccasionalclunks,butwillnotdamagethe
drivesystem.
IfequippedwiththeElectronicShift4WDSystem,and4WDLow
isselectedwhilethevehicleismovingabove3mph(5km/h),the
4WDsystemwillnotengage.Thisisnormalandshouldbeno
reasonforconcern.RefertoShiftingto/from4WDLowforproper
operation.

on-roaddrivingbutrecommended
whenwetpavement,snow,orloosegravelconditionsareexpected.
4X4HIGH(4WDHigh)-Provideslockedfour-wheeldrivepowertoall
fourwheels.Thismodeisnotintendedforuseondrypavement.This
modeisappropriateforseverewinterandoff-roadconditions,suchas
deepsnow,iceorshallowsand.
