ThisvehicleisequippedwithanAdaptiveTransmissionShiftStrategy.
AdaptiveTransmissionShiftStrategyofferstheoptimaltransmission
operationandshiftquality.Theadaptiveinformationwillbestored
automaticallyinthePowertrainControlModule(PCM)andTransmission
ControlModule(TCM).Whenthevehicle’sbatteryhasbeen
disconnectedforanytypeofserviceorrepair,thetransmissionwillneed
torelearnthenormalshiftstrategyparameters,muchlikehavingtoreset
yourradiostationswhenyourvehiclebatteryhasbeendisconnected.
TheAdaptiveTransmissionShiftStrategyallowsthetransmissionto
relearntheseoperatingparameters.Thislearningprocesscouldtake
severaltransmissionupshiftsanddownshifts;duringthislearning
process,slightlyfirmershiftsmayoccur.Afterthislearningprocess,
normalshiftfeelandshiftschedulingwillresume.
