WARNING:TheNationalHighwayTrafficSafetyAdministration
(NHTSA)recommendsaminimumdistanceofatleast10inches
cm)betweenanoccupant’schestandthedriverairbagmodule.

deployingairbagcanresultinseriousarmfracturesorother

Toproperlypositionyourselfawayfromtheairbag:

Moveyourseattotherearasfarasyoucanwhilestillreachingthe
pedalscomfortably.

Reclinetheseatslightlyoneortwodegreesfromtheuprightposition.
WARNING:Donotputanythingonorovertheairbagmodule.
Placingobjectsonorovertheairbaginflationareamaycause
thoseobjectstobepropelledbytheairbagintoyourfaceandtorso
causingseriousinjury.
WARNING:Donotattempttoservice,repair,ormodifythe
airbagsupplementalrestraintsystemsoritsfuses.Contactyour
authorizeddealerassoonaspossible.
WARNING:Modificationstothefrontendofthevehicle,
includingframe,bumper,frontendbodystructureandnon-Ford
