Seating and Safety Restraints
Deactivating/activatingtheeasyaccess/easyoutfeature
Theeasyentry/exitfeaturecanbeturnedofforonthroughthevehicle
messagecenter(ifequipped).Ifyourvehicledoesnothaveamessage
center,thefeaturecanbeturnedofforonthroughthefollowingprocess:
1.
Putthekeyintotheignition(Thedriverseatmaymoveforwardifthe
easyentry/exitfeatureisactivated).
2.
Placetheignitionkeyintotheonposition(donotstartthevehicle).
Whenthevehicleisintheonposition,theinteriorandexteriorlights,
theclimatecontrols,andtheradioarefunctionalwithouttheengine
started.SeeProgrammingremotetransmittersforignitionswitch
diagram.

Turntheignitionkeytotheoffposition.
Cycletheignitionkeybetweentheoffpositionandtheonpositiona
totalofthreetimesendingwiththeignitionintheoffposition.

6.
Engagetheforwardorrearwardseatswitch.
Removetheignitionkeyfromtheignitionswitch.(Thedriverseat
maymoverearwardiftheeasyentry/exitfeatureisactivated).
Steps2through6mustbeperformedwithina20secondperiod.The
easyentry/exitfeaturewillbedeactivated.Repeatingtheaboveprocess
willalsoreactivatetheeasyentry/exitfeature.
Heated seats (if equipped)
WARNING:Personswhoareunabletofeelpaintotheskin
becauseofadvancedage,chronicillness,diabetes,spinalcord
injury,medication,alcoholuse,exhaustion,orotherphysical
conditions,mustexercisecarewhenusingtheseatheater.Theseat
heatermaycauseburnsevenatlowtemperatures,especiallyifused
forlongperiodsoftime.Donotplaceanythingontheseatthat
insulatesagainstheat,suchasablanketorcushion,becausethismay
causetheseatheatertooverheat.Donotpuncturetheseatwithpins,
needles,orotherpointedobjectsbecausethismaydamagetheheating
elementwhichmaycausetheseatheatertooverheat.Anoverheated
seatmaycauseseriouspersonalinjury.
