RUNNING OUT OF FUEL
Ifyouhaverunoutoffuelandneedtorefillthevehiclewithaportable
fuelcontainer,seeRunningoutoffuelintheMaintenanceand
Specificationschapterforproperfuelfillingmethodusingaportable
fuelcontainerandtheincludedfuelfillerfunnel.Donotinsertthe
nozzleofportablefuelcontainersoranytypeofaftermarketfunnelsinto
theEasyFuel™“nocap”fuelsystemasitcanbedamaged.Youmust
usetheincludedfunnelinsuchcircumstances.
WARNING:Donotinsertthenozzleofportablefuelcontainers
oraftermarketfunnelsintotheEasyFuel™system.Thiscould
damagethefuelsystemanditsseal,andmaycausefueltorunonto
thegroundinsteadoffillingthetank,allofwhichcouldresultin
seriouspersonalinjury.

resultininjuryorvehicledamage.

Donotattempttopush-startyourautomatictransmission
vehicle.Automatictransmissionsdonothavepush-start
capability.Attemptingtopush-startavehiclewithanautomatic
transmissionmaycausetransmissiondamage.
Preparing your vehicle
Whenthebatteryisdisconnectedoranewbatteryisinstalled,the
automatictransmissionmustrelearnitsshiftstrategy.Asaresult,the
transmissionmayhavefirmand/orsoftshifts.Thisoperationis
considerednormalandwillnotaffectfunctionordurabilityofthe
transmission.Overtime,theadaptivelearningprocesswillfullyupdate
transmissionoperation.

Useonlya12–voltsupplytostartyourvehicle.

Donotdisconnectthebatteryofthedisabledvehicleasthiscould
damagethevehicle’selectricalsystem.
