LOCKINGUSINGTHEKEY
Turnthekeyinthedriver’sdoortowardstherearofthevehicle;
•
ONCEtolock-theengineisimmobilisedandtheperimetric
alarmisarmed.
•
TWICE(within1second)to’superlock’-inaddition,thedoors
cannotbeunlockedfromtheinsideofthevehicle
(recommendedwhenleavinganimalsinthevehicle).
Remember;therecommendedmethodofsecuringthevehicleisby
’superlocking’withthehandset.
Tounlock:
Turnthekeytowardsthefrontofthevehicle.Ifthealarmisarmed,
thedriver’sdoorwilldisarmandinteriorspaceprotectionwillbe
de-activated.However,todisarmthealarmcompletelyandto
remobilisetheengine,thehandsetmustbeused.
NOTE:Ifthehandsetislostorbroken,usetheemergencykeyaccesscode
todisarmthealarmandremobilisetheengine,asdescribedlaterinthis
section.
