LOCKINGWHEELNUTS
Onelockingwheelnutisfittedtoeachalloyroadwheel(including
thespare).Lockingwheelnutsarevisuallysimilartostandard
wheelnuts,butcanonlyberemovedusingthespecialtools
provided,asfollows:
Pushtheextractor(1)firmlyovertheheadofthelockingwheelnut.
Pulltoremovethenutcover(2).
Fitthekeysocket(3)overthelockingwheelnut(4)then,usingthe
wheelnutspanner,undothenutinthenormalway.
NOTE:Thekeysocketcanberetainedinsidetheextractortube
whennotinuse.Bothextractortubeandkeysocketcanbekeptin
thepocketofthetoolkitbag.
