Hilldescentcontrol(HDC)’failure’-AMBER
Thelightilluminatesbrieflyasabulbcheckwhenthe
starterswitchisturnedtoposition’II’.Thelightwill
flashifthebrakesbecomeindangerofoverheatingandcontinue
flashinguntilthebrakeshavecooledsufficientlytoenableHDCto
operateagain(seealso’HDCfade-out’).
Ifthelightilluminatesatanyothertime,afaultinthesystemis
indicated.Ifthisoccurs,deselectHDCandconsultyourLandRover
dealer.
Dooropen-RED
Illuminateswhenanyofthedoors(includingthe
taildoorandbonnet)arenotfullyclosed.DONOT
drivethevehiclewiththelightilluminated.
Tractioncontrol-AMBER
Illuminatesasabulbandsystemcheckwhenthe
starterswitchisturnedtoposition’II’and
extinguishesafterapproximately4seconds.Thelightilluminates
foraminimumof2seconds,whenevertractioncontrolis
operating.
Ifthelightilluminatescontinuously,afaultwiththesystemis
indicated;seekqualifiedassistance.
ABS-AMBER
Illuminatesforapproximately1secondasabulband
systemcheckwhenthestarterswitchisturnedto
position’II’,andbrieflyextinguishesbeforecomingonagain.Ifthe
lightdoesnotextinguishandthencomeonagain,thenafaulthas
occurredwiththeABSsystemandyoushouldconsultyourLand
Roverdealerattheearliestopportunity.Thewarninglightwill
remainonuntilthevehicleisdrivenaboveapproximately7km/h.
Ifthelightremainsonorsubsequentlyilluminateswhiledriving,a
faulthasbeendetectedbytheself-monitoringsystem.Thismeans
thatfullABScontrolmaynotbeavailableandyoushouldconsult
yourdealerattheearliestopportunity.
