Thepurposeofelectronictractioncontrolistoaidtractionwhen
onewheelspinswhiletheotherstillhasgoodgrip,eg.ifonesideof
thevehicleisoniceandthe9otherisontarmac.Thesystemworks
byapplyingthebraketoaspinningwheelinordertotransfertorque
totheothersideoftheaxle.
NOTE:Tractioncontrolonlyoperatesbelowapproximately50km/h.
Theinstrumentpanelhasatractioncontrolwarninglight(TC)
whichilluminateswheneverthesystemisactive(foraminimumof

seconds)andalsoilluminatesasabulbcheck(forapproximately
seconds)whenthestarterswitchisturnedtoposition’II’.
Ifthereisafaultwiththesystem,thenthewarninglightwill
illuminatecontinuously-contactyourdealerattheearliest
opportunity.
