whichchecksthatalltheelectricalcomponentsareinworking
order,assoonasthestarterswitchisturnedtoposition’II’and
alsoatfrequentintervalsduringyourjourney.
Thewarninglightontheinstrumentpanelisanimportantpartof
thissystem.Thewarninglightshouldilluminateforapproximately
onesecondwhenthestarterswitchisturnedtoposition’II’and
thenbrieflyextinguishesbeforecomingonagain.Ifthelightdoes
notextinguishandthenilluminateagain,thenafaulthasoccurred
withtheABSsystemandyoushouldconsultyourLandRover
dealerattheearliestopportunity.Thewarninglightwillremain
illuminateduntilthevehicleisdrivenaboveapproximately7km/h.
Ifthelightremainsonorsubsequentlyilluminateswhiledriving,a
faulthasbeendetectedbytheselfmonitoringsystemandfullABS
controlmaynotbeavailable-consultyourdealerattheearliest
opportunity.
NOTE:Immediatelyaftertheengineisstarted,ashort,lowpitched
’buzz’maybeheard;thisistheABSsystemprimingandisno
causeforconcern.
