Adjustingtheupperanchorage
(frontseatbeltsonly-5-door)
Toreducethelikelihoodofinjuryinanaccident,theseatbeltupper
anchoragepointshouldbeadjustedsothatthebeltwebbing
crossestheshoulder,MIDWAYBETWEENTHENECKANDTHE
EDGEOFTHESHOULDER.
Adjusttheheightoftheseatbeltanchoragepoint,bypressingthe
button(arrowedinillustration)andslidingtheanchorupordown.

Fortheirsafety,itisveryimportantthatallinfantsandyoung
childrenarerestrainedinachildsafetyseatappropriatetotheirage
andsize.Arangeofsafetyseatsapprovedforuseinyourvehicleis
availablefromyourdealer.
Foroptimumsafety,childrenshouldtravelintherearofthevehicle
atalltimes.However,ifapassengerairbagisfittedanditis
essentialthatachildtravelinthefront,settheseatfullyrearward
andseatthechildinanapproved,FORWARDFACINGchildseat.DO
NOTusearearfacingchildseat-aninflatingairbagcouldimpact
withtheseatandcauseseriousinjurytothechild!

panelofyourvehicle,warnsagainsttheuseofaREARFACING
childseatwhenafrontpassengerairbagisfitted.Fittingthistypeof
