ENGINEIMMOBILISATION
Engineimmobilisationisanimportantaspectofthevehicle’s
securitysystemandincludesafeatureknownas’passive
immobilisation’,designedtosafeguardthevehiclefromtheftshould
thedriverforgettolockthedoors.Theengineisautomatically
immobilisedwheneveranyofthefollowingconditionsoccur:

illuminateconstantlywiththe
ignitionon-presseither
handsetbuttontoremobilise
theengine.

Thealarmisarmedusingthehandsetorthekey.
FivesecondsafterthestarterswitchhasbeenturnedoffAND
thedriver’sdooropened(whetherthekeyisremovedornot).

Fiveminutesafterthestarterswitchisturnedoff(whetherthe
keyisremovedornot).
Tore-mobilisetheengine,presstheplainbuttononthehandset
orinsertthekeyintothestarterswitchandturntoposition’II.
