Afterloadingthetrailer,checkthattheweightonthehitchpoint
(thisiscalledthedraw-barloadingweight,ornoseweight),
doesnotexceed140kg.
Wheretheloadweightcanbedividedbetweentrailerandtow
vehicle,loadingmoreweightintothevehiclewillgenerally
improvethestabilityofthecombination.
Thevehiclemaximumrearaxleweightandmaximumgrosstrain
weight(see’TechnicalData’)mustnotbeexceeded,whenthe
trailerisattachedandanypassengersorluggageareinplace
insidethevehicle.
Forhightrailerweights,thismayrequirethatpassengersand/or
luggageberemovedfromthevehicle.
NOTE:Towingregulationsvaryfromcountrytocountry.Itisvery
importanttoensurethatnationalregulationsgoverningtowing
weightsandspeedlimitsareobserved(refertotherelevantnational
motoringorganisationforinformation).Themaximumpermissible
