INSTRUMENTS

Temperaturegauge
Thisgaugeindicatesthetemperatureoftheenginecoolant.Asthe
enginewarmsup,thepointerwillrisetothemid-pointofthegauge,
whereitshouldremainwhiletheengineisoperatingatitsnormal
temperature.
IfthepointerreachestheREDmark,thecoolantistoohotand
severeenginedamagecouldresult;stopthevehicleassoonas
safetypermitsandseekqualifiedassistance.

Tachometer(petrolmodelillustrated)
Indicatesenginespeedinrevolutionsperminute(x1000).To
protecttheenginefromdamage,NEVERallowthetachometer
pointertoentertheREDsector.
NOTE:Ondieselmodels,thetachometerisonlycalibratedupto
6,000
rev/min.

Speedometer
Indicatesroadspeedinkilometresperhour.
4.
Totaldistanceandtriprecorder(odometer)
Thedigitaldisplayindicatesthetotaldistancetravelledbythe
vehicleor,whenthereset/modebuttonispressed,indicatesthetrip
recorderdistance.
5.
Triprecorderreset/modebutton
Presstoalternatebetweentotaldistanceandtriprecorders.Press
andholdwhenintriprecordermodetoreturnthetriprecorderto
zero.
6.
Fuelgauge
Thepointerindicatesthefuellevel,evenwhenthestarterswitchis
turnedoff.Afterrefuelling,thepointerslowlyrisestothenewlevel
afterthestarterswitchisturnedon.
