hasanapertureatthebottom
toallowthetyrepressureofthe
sparewheeltobechecked
withoutremovingthecover.
Forthistobepossible,the
sparewheelmustbeplacedon
itsmountingwiththevalveat
thebottom.

Removingthesparewheel
Usethewheelnutspannertoremovethenutssecuringthespare
wheeltothecarrieronthereardoor,removethesparewheelcover
(iffitted)andliftoffthewheel.
NOTE:Insomemarkets,vehiclesfittedwithalloywheelshavea
lockingwheelnutfittedtoeachwheel,includingthespare(see
’Lockingwheelnuts’laterinthissection).
