CENTRALDOORLOCKINGSWITCH
Asasecurityfeature,whenlocking,thedoorsilllockingbuttons
dropcompletelyintothedoor,makingthemlessaccessibletoa
wouldbethief.Toenablethedrivertooperatethesilllocking
buttons,thevehicleisequippedwithacentraldoorlockingswitch
onthefasciapanel.
Pressthelowerportionoftheswitchtolockallthedoors(thealarm
isnotarmed).Presstheupperportionoftheswitchtounlock.

DOORLOCKINGCUT-OFFSWITCH
Aninertiaswitch,operationalonlywiththestarterswitchinposition
’II’,preventsthedoorscentrallylocking(orifthedoorsarelocked,
willunlockthem)intheeventofanaccidentorsuddenimpact.
Whentheinertiaswitchoperates,centraldoorlockingisinhibited
untilthesystemisresetbypressingtherubbertop(arrowedin
illustration).Onpetrolmodels,thiswillalsoresetthefuelsystem
(see’Fuelcut-offswitch’).
