E-85GeneralInformation
The information in this section is for Flexible Fuel ve-
hiclesonly.Thesevehiclescanbeidentifiedbytheunique
fuel filler door label that states Ethanol (E-85) or Un-
leaded Gasoline Only. This section only covers those
subjectsthatareuniquetothesevehicles.Pleasereferto
the other sections of this manual for information on 5
features that are common between Flexible Fuel and
gasolineonlypoweredvehicles.
NOTE:
Extended driving at high RPM should be
avoidedtopreventexcessheatgeneration.Areductionin
vehiclespeedmayberequiredtoavoidextendeddriving
at high RPM. Return to a higher gear range or vehicle
speedwhenroadconditionsandRPMlevelallows.
CAUTION!
OnlyvehicleswiththeE-85fuelfillerdoorlabelcan
operateonE-85.
