Block wheel diagonally op-
positeflattire.
2.
Remove the spare tire, scissors jack and lug wrench
fromstowage.
3.
Beforeraisingthevehicle,uselugwrenchtocarefully
pry off wheel cover (if equipped with steel wheels) or
centercap(ifequippedwithaluminumwheels).Loosen,
but do not remove, the wheel nuts by turning them
counterclockwiseoneturnwhilethewheelisstillonthe
ground.

CenterCapRemoval
WARNING!
Toavoidpossiblepersonalinjury,handlethewheel
covers with care to avoid contact with the metal
edgesandretentionteeth.
4.
Turnthejackscrewclockwisetofirmlyengagethejack
saddlewiththeliftareaofthesillflange.Usetheliftarea
closesttotheflattire
5.
Raise the vehicle just enough to remove flat tire and
installsparetire.
