If your Remote Lock Control fails to operate from a
normaldistance,checkforthesetwoconditions:

Weak batteries in transmitter. The expected life of
batteriesisfromonetotwoyears

Closenesstoaradiotransmittersuchasaradiostation
tower,airporttransmitter,andsomemobileorCBradios.

TherecommendedreplacementbatteriesareCR2016.
SeparatingTransmitterHalves

Removeandreplacethebatteries.Avoidtouchingthe

object. Make sure not to damage the rubber gasket
materialduringremoval.
Prythetransmitterhalvesapartwithadimeorsimilar
new batteries with your fingers. Skin oils may cause
battery deterioration. If you touch the battery, clean it
withrubbingalcohol.

Reassemble the transmitter case. Snap the  halves
togetherandtesttransmitteroperation.
