Park the vehicle on a firm level surface, avoid ice or
slipperyareas,andsettheparkingbrake.Placethegear
selectorinPARK.

TurnontheHazardWarningFlasher,parkvehicleon
firm,levelsurface.
Put gear shift in park (automatic transmission) or
reverse(manualtransmission).

Setparkingbrakeandturnoffengine.
Passengersshouldnotremaininthevehiclewhilethe
vehicleisbeingjacked.
ChangingaTire
The spare wheel, scissors jack, and lug wrench are
stowedunderthesparetirecoverintherearcargoarea.
Donotattempttoraisethisvehicleusingabumperjack.
