UNDERSTANDINGTHEFEATURESOFYOURVEHICLE

ToDeactivate:
Press the ON/OFF switch to turn the speed control
systemON.ToturnthesystemOFF,presstheON/OFF
switchagain.ThesystemshouldbeturnedOFFwhennot
in use. The CRUISE Indicator in the instrument cluster
willlightupwhentheSpeedControlisON.
A soft tap on the brake pedal, pushing the CANCEL
button,ornormalbrakeorclutchpressurewilldeactivate
speed control without erasing the memory. Pushing the
ON/OFF button or turning off the ignition turns the
speedcontrolsystemoffanderasesthememory.
NOTE: You must press the ON button to activate the
ToResumeSpeed:
systemeachtimetheengineisstarted.
To resume a previously set speed, push and release the
RESUME/ACCEL button. Resume can be used at any
speedabove25mph(40km/h).
WARNING!
ToVaryTheSpeedSetting:
Leaving the Electronic Speed Control system ON
whennotinuseisdangerous.Youcouldaccidentally
setthesystemorcauseittogofasterthanyouwant.
Youcouldlosecontrolandhaveanaccident.Always
leavethesystemOFFwhenyouaren’tusingit.
WhenthespeedcontrolisEngaged(activelycontrolling
toaSETspeed),speedcanbeincreasedbypressingand
holdingtheRESUME/ACCELbutton.Whenthebutton
isreleased,anewsetspeedwillbeestablished.
TappingtheRESUME/ACCELbuttononcewillresultin
a2mph(3km/h)increaseintheSETspeed.Eachtime
the button is tapped, the SET speed increases. For ex-
ampletappingthebuttonthreetimeswillincreasespeed
by6mph(10km/h),etc.
ToSetAtADesiredSpeed:
Whenthevehiclehasreachedthedesiredspeedandthe
systemisON,pressandreleasetheSETbutton.Release
theacceleratorandthevehiclewilloperateattheselected
speed.ThespeedcontrolisnowEngaged.
