Toopenthehood,twolatchesmustbereleased.Firstpull
thehoodreleaseleverlocatedundertheleftsideofthe
instrumentpanel.

HoodSafetyCatch
Use the hood prop rod to secure the hood in the open
position.Placetheupperendoftheproprodinthehole
marked“prop”ontheundersideofthehood.
HoodReleaseLever
Thenliftthesecondarylatchlocatedunderthefrontedge
ofthehood,nearthecenterandraisethehood.
To prevent possible damage, do not slam the hood to
closeit.Useafirmdownwardpushatthecenterofthe
hoodtoensurethatbothlatchesengage.
