Reset
In rare instances, it may be necessary to reset the UCon-
nect™ system . The reset featu re is exercised by pressing
and hold ing the ’UConnect™ ’ and ’Voice Recognition’
buttons simultaneou sly for 15 second s. Norm ally, you do
not need to exercise this featu re.

Perform ance, such as, audio clarity, echo. and loud-
ness to a large degree, rely on the phone and netw ork,
and not the UConnect™ system .
Power-Up
After switching ignition key from off to either On or ACC
position, or after a reset, you must wait at least five (5)
second s prior to using the system .
Echo at far end can som etim e be red uced by lowering
the in-vehicle audio volu me.
BluetoothCommunicationLink
Cellu lar phones have been found to occasionally loose
connection to the UConnect™ system . When this hap -
pens, the connection can generally be re-established by
switching the phone off/ on. Your cell phone is recom -
mend ed to rem ain in Bluetooth ЉonЉ mode.
