Tilting the steering column while the vehicle is
movingisdangerous.Withoutastablesteeringcol-
umn,youcouldlosecontrolofthevehicleandhave
an accident. Adjust the column only while the ve-
hicleisstopped.Besureitislockedbeforedriving.

ELECTRONICSPEEDCONTROL
When  engaged , this  device  takes  over  accelerator  opera-
tions  beginning   at speed  s of approxim  ately  30 mph   (48
km/  h). The  controls  are mounted   on  the  steering  wheel
and  consist of  ON·OFF, SET, RES·ACCEL, CAN CEL, and
DECEL controls.
ToActivate
Press  and  release  the ON·OFF  button  to  turn  the system
on.  To  turn   the  system   off,  press  the  ON·OFF   button
again.  The system  shou ld  be turned  off  when  not in  use.
The  CRUISE  ind icator   light  in  the   instru ment   cluster
illuminates   when  the  system  is on.
